acoasma
fixed media (2ch and 4ch versions)2026
An "Acoasma" is an auditory hallucination. This piece superimposes and juxtaposes plausible and implausible sonic realites, trajectories, locations, behaviors, and situations - like drifting between reality and a hallucination.
At the center of this is my fascination with the cusp between recognizability and unrecognizability. I like to explore the boundaries between things.
