This is a collection of four short songs, each one written in an entirely invented language.

I wrote these between 1am and 4am over the span of a few months, when both kids were asleep and the house was still. They are weird, playful, and surreal combinations of my usual post-spectral harmony with my early training in Latin American folk music. The results sound like strange, isolated, imagined folk tunes.
I spent a lot of time researching the accordion for this piece- I hope to write more for this beautiful and incredibly versatile instrument in the future.
